• Our superior Malnad Gidda Organic Ghee comes from the cleaved hills of the Western Ghats, and the milk is sourced from the Malnad Gidda breed of cows. This breed of cow is believed to have originated from the sacred cow "Kapila" which grazes on green grasses and medicinal plants of the western Ghat region. Produced through the traditional Bilona method determines the purity. Each spoon is doubly enriched with omega-3 fatty acids DHA and CLA. In a bid to reduce our carbon footprint, we back local people and their agriculture to provide a healthy, good and environment-friendly product.

Bilona Method 

Our organic ghee is made with utmost dedication using the Traditional Bilona Method, a painstaking age-old draughtsman’s turn designed for excellence in Indian cooking. It commences with fresh, raw milk of Malnad Gidda cow species, which is allowed to naturally sour, aiding beneficial bacteria to form a solid mass, conceal.

After the mass is solidified, a traditional churning device rotates the solid part. This process is known as dividing butter and buttermilk. The unrefined butter which is obtained is then simmered for an appropriate time frame until the butter alters to a golden colour and starts emitting a nutty aroma. This undistorted, untouched, packed jar retains fats, nutrients and flavours. The core of our commitment to quality and tradition.
